MACON TRANSITIONAL CENTER – September 7, 2014

I ministered at Macon TC to 11 of God’s children. I played two songs on video praise and worship and then Stephen and Eric did some praise music. After the praise and worship, I ministered “When I Fall, I Shall Arise” taking the text from Micah 7:7-8.

The basic point of the entire message is that it’s not a sin to stumble or fall ….we will make mistakes because we're not perfect. There was only one perfect man and He died to restore our relationship to the Father. It will happen to everyone from time to time. The true sin comes in when you stay down ... you don't ask for forgiveness but lay there and wallow in your sin. You need to get right back up, brush yourself off, cut your cord to the past, and pursue God. I used a lot of illustrations and exercises which were a lot of fun but hopefully made an impact about the truth of immediately getting back up, asking for forgiveness, turning away from the past and pushing on towards the mark.

Every man in the room responded to the altar call that they were tired of falling and staying down. They want strength to get right back up and follow God! We then got into a circle, took prayer requests and each man prayed for the needs of others.
