WEST CENTRAL INTEGRATED TREATMENT FACILITY - Oct. 31, 2015

What a great evening with 28 wonderful ladies! After an awesome time of praise and worship, Wayne showed a documentary that he had put together for the Ghana mission trip. It really moved the ladies. He used this as the foundation for ministering to the ladies.

Wayne read I Cor. 13:4-7
What a great evening with 28 wonderful ladies! After an awesome time of praise and worship, Wayne showed a documentary that he had put together for the Ghana mission trip. It really moved the ladies. He used this as the foundation for ministering to the ladies.

Wayne read I Cor. 13:4-7 - Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

One thing we notice is the opposite of love is not hate. The opposite is pride. It's love with a motive behind it.
Church of Corinth had a lot of issues ... all based on pride. Paul told them that they were missing the point. That still applies to us today. We have a blind side we need to get rid of. Love is not something you say; it is an action.
Do you have a relationship with God? Can you describe it? Wayne told them that he drives truck for a living. He doesn't drive to deliver loads. Christ did not die on the cross for our sins; He died on the cross to reconcile our relationship.

He talked about his first date when he was a teenager and how he changed after his first date. How did you change after your first date with Jesus? Is your love relationship with Jesus selfish? He does all the giving and you do all the taking? Can you really describe your relationship with Jesus? A lot of issues in our life stem back to pride.

Are you ready for a change? Seven ladies came up saying they wanted a real change in their life. Wayne had the other ladies come up behind them and pray with them. Thank you, Lord, for moving in these ladies lives.
