WEST CENTRAL INTEGRATED TREATMENT FACILITY - 1/3/15

Wayne, Julia and I spent the evening with 37 awesome ladies at West Central. We started the service with prayer and praise and worship. Then I danced to "Holy Ground." I turned the service over to Wayne who brought the message on "The Gospel - Believe". Scriptures were taken from the first 3 chapters of Romans.

Three Attributes of God
He is our CREATOR (Romans 1:18-20, 25)
He is JUST as our JUDGE (Romans 2:1-11, 16)
He is GRACIOUS (Romans 3:23-24)

A JUST and GRACIOUS God looked upon a hopelessly sinful people.
1. We have rebelled against God (Romans 3:10-18, 23)
2. We are separated from God (Romans 3:23)
3. We are dead without God (Romans 6:23, Romans 3:19)

How can God be JUST and GRACIOUS at the same time?
Because He sent His Son, Messiah Y'shua, God in the flesh, to bear His wrath against sin on the cross and to show His power over sin in the resurrection.
1. Y'shua's life DISPLAYED the Righteousness of God (Romans 3:21-26)
2. Y'shua's death SATISFIED the wrath of God (Romans 3:25)
3. Y'shua's resurrection DEMONSTRATED the power of God.

So that all who have faith in Him will be reconciled to God.
1. God is GIVER of the Gospel (Romans 3:24) - freely gives us His grace.
2. God is the GIFT of the Gospel (Romans 3:26, 2 Cor. 5:21) - the Gospel brings us back to God
3. God is the GOAL of the Gospel (Romans 3:25, John 12:27-28)

The just and gracious God of the universe looked upon a hopelessly sinful people and sent His Son, Messiah Y'shua, God in the flesh, to bear His wrath against sin on the cross to show His power over sin in the resurrection so that ALL who have faith in Him will be reconciled to God FOREVER!

Risk - we can know all of these truths and still not be saved
Reality - our eternal destiny hinges on Biblical response to the Gospel

Wayne told the ladies to take time to examine their hearts and pray silently before God. He also opened the "altar" if they wanted to come up and have any of us pray with them. The front was full of ladies who needed prayer.
