Kevin Humphery ministered on "In The Darkness" taking his initial text from 2 Chronicles 7:14 - If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Most of you in here don't even know what that means and you wonder why the next part of the verse doesn't work. How can you say you're humble when you're always ready to get in someone's face when they come against you. And when you pray, most prayers are give me that, do this for me, I need this, etc.

Do you take time to seek His face? You can't fake it until you make it. How do you seek His face? You need to get down on your knees and get honest with God.

To turn from your wicked ways means to repent! The problem is you tell Him you're sorry but then go right back to your old ways. That's not repentance.

Every one of you have an opportunity to humble yourself, seek His face, and turn from your old ways. I'll bet half of you never pray for anyone but yourself.

He then took them to Judges to talk about Samson. Due to circumstances in his life, he was at odds with the Philistines who had killed his wife and father-in-law. When he lost his wife, it left a hole in his heart .... a void ... and anger that he held for years. Any of you have a hole in your heart; holding unforgiveness for years? So many people go through life from one relationship to another because of the void in their life.

Then he met Delilah. He had to have her. Samson wanted to fill that void in his life so badly that he thought he really loved her. Be careful what you ask for 'cause you might just get it.

The Philistines offered Delilah money to find out the secret of Samson's strength. She kept after him daily to know his secret. If someone keeps pestering you about something - and you know what I'm talking about - get away from them! Delilah absolutely beat him down because he loved her. Don't give in to him = get away! You gave in because you loved him. Where is he now?

Delilah got Samson's heart and mind. Satan is doing all he can to remove all parts of God out of you leaving a void. Some of you have had a void as long as you can remember. You tried to fill it with drugs, alcohol, men, etc. but it didn't work.

Then Delilah lulled him to sleep on her knees. You have to be careful that stuff you get caught up in doesn't become your normal.

He awoke from his sleep and didn't even know that God was gone. The Philistines took his vision first. Without vision the people perish. They blinded him and put him on a mill wheel wher he walked in circles. When you don't have a vision and can't see God, you go in circles.

In the midst of the darkness, something began to happen to Samson. His hair grew out and he kept praying to God. Satan blinded you, but in the middle of the darkness, God will show up.
The Philistines could have killed him but they didn't. Satan wants you to be just like you used to be.
They were going to bring Samson up to their ceremony to make fun of him. When you get out, people will come against you and make fun of you.

Samson had a lad to guide him. God will put someone in your life to guide you.

Samson said, "Lord remember me." He asked God to strengthen him for that day. That day Samson did more damage to the Philistines than he did in his entire life.

If you have a vision;; God will give you provision. Are you going to let God open your eyes; lead you; fill that void? Every lady in the room came front for prayer. Praise God for His provision!
