The Set Captives Free team of Pastors Elizabeth Smith and Kevin Humphery as well as Sheila Stover held services with 60 lovely ladies at West Central. After several worship songs including Andrae Crouch's "Through it All," everyone's hearts were prepared for God's word as brought by Elizabeth and Kevin.

After several worship songs including Andrae Crouch's "Through it All," everyone's hearts were prepared for God's word as brought by Elizabeth and Kevin.
Kevin pointed out that people don't call on God because they don't believe and reject God's love due to the sad events in their lives. Jesus came before we believed and loved us while we actively cursed him.
Kevin then spoke on "Issues" based on Mark 5:25-34 - the story of the woman healed from an issue of blood after touching the hem of Jesus' garment. After reminding us of all the problems that overwhelm us, Kevin explained that the woman first had to acknowledge and be accountable for her issues. She also had to believe and persevere until she got to the place of healing. This includes letting go of things and people who hold us back and never stopping our forward progress. Openly confess the whole truth to God and then tell your story of faith, belief and the healing process to others. You never know who is waiting on your personal testimony to believe.
Thank God for all the women who came forward and prayed for physical, mental and spiritual healing. God is so amazing!
