WEST CENTRAL INTEGRATED TREATMENT FACILITY - May 3, 2014

It was a very exciting night because I had six of my team of seven that go to West Central. The ladies got excited when they saw all of us come in. We started out with prayer and video worship. It never ceases to amaze me how the ladies really get into worshipping their Lord!

Kevin brought the message on "It's Your Time Tonight.... But It's Up to You!" He took his text from Mark 10:46-52, Romans 10:17 and John 1:1, 14. He started out "Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? It's YOUR night!"

He told the story of blind Bartemaeus but brought it down to where the ladies live. I love the way he takes the Word and fits it to the present day for those who are incarcerated. I have to admit ... I was so engrossed in his message that I did not take good notes.

God cannot do anything for you until you're honest with yourself. You have to forgive. It takes too much energy to hate someone. Forgive and let it go. You have to forgive for God to forgive you.

All 26 ladies in the room came up for prayer. We had time left over forr any questions the ladies had and Kevin, Wayne and I took turns answering them. It was an awesome night.

I received a text message from the Chaplain the next day. Kevin had told the ladies that he felt that one/some of them would hear from a child(ren) or famiiy member. One lady went back to the dorm and had an email from her son whome she had not heard from since last September! Praise God!
