Kevin Humphery and Pat Nicely went with me to WCITF. We had 22 ladies in the service and had an AMAZING time in the Lord! We started out with video praise and worship.
Then Kevin brought the message on "Secrets" talking about the family tree of Jesus. He took the text from Matt: 1:5-6. He told the ladies that "first you need to learn how to forgive yourself."

Then he went to Joshua 6:22 and talked about Rahab. She had faith to help the spies so she and her family were saved. Rahab was a harlot. Remember, where you came from has nothing to do with where you're going. There are people who will never forget what you have done and will make sure to remind you. Rahab the harlot was an ancestor of Jesus. It didn't matter what she did ... it's what she became. People will talk about you when you get out. Don't get mad .... get with God. Get down on your knees and pray.
Kevin then read Matt. 1:6 - King David was an ancestor of Jesus. David was "messed up" yet he was a man after God's own heart. He had a "pornagraphic" moment when he saw Bathsheba bathing on her rooftop. When he got together with her and she got pregnant, David had a great plan that didn't work because Uriah was faithful to David, so David had him killed. He added murder to lust and adultery. There are some things you just can't make right .... get out of it and let it go! You have to be able to get past your past and forgive yourself. Once you let it go, God can use you.
There things in your past that are dead .... let them stay dead. Quit trying to convince others you have changed. Just live it and let God ... and most of all let the past go!
Then he gave an altar call .... if you're tired of worrying about people finding out about your secrets, come to the front. Every woman in the room came up for prayer!
