WEST CENTRAL INTEGRATED TREATMENT FACILITY - Nov. 21, 2015

Set Captives Free Ministries (Susan Slaven, Thirley Ross and Elizabeth Smith) joined 32 ladies at WCITF for an AMAZING evening worshiping God! After a very worshipful time of praise and worship where many ladies came down front and knelt before the Lord with praise and tears, Thirley ministered on "There is Hope." Thirley told the ladies that she has been dealing with a lot so she has been having a conversation with God. Hopefully we can all get something out of it.

First, let's define Hope: The feeling of wanting something to happen and thinking it could happen; someone or something that may be able to provide help; someone or something that gives you a reason for hoping. Desire accompanied by expectation of or believe in fulfillment.

Thirley gave her testimony about the tumor she had several years back. No matter what is going on; there is always hope. Prov. 13;12 - Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

When hope is delayed, there can be disappointment or depression, but its only temporary. The realization of hope gives encouragement just like a tree that gives life. It brings new life to the body and spirit.

Science Lesson: Let's talk about trees/plants - living things. We all have witnessed a plant that is dead and has no life. My plant was dying because I had not watered/nutured it. As soon as I watered it, it started springing back to life. Isn't that how God does us sometimes? We're lifeless when we unplug from Him. When He pours a little water on us (Living Water) with His Word, we spring up to fullness of life.

Hebrews 6:18 - So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary. This sums up everything said tonight. God keeps His promises. He cannot lie. We have confidence that we can obtain our hope - confidence in God.

Many women came up front to be prayed for. It was a very special and anointed service. Praise God!
